Cobaita

Cobaita, 150 gr. loaf, is a crunchy nougat made of sesame, almonds, Hyblean honey, cane sugar. The secret of the perfect success of the cobaita is in its cooking: all the ingredients are put in a pot on a very low fire and, always stirring, are left to cook until the sesame and almonds are perfectly toasted. Here in Modica, it is not Christmas if on our tables this delicacy its missing.
