Soconusco is a region in southwestern Mexico where small farmers grow this excellent and invaluable cocoa. They resist the multinationals that would like to absorb them for profit. Donna Elvira is proud to support them by buying their cocoa. In the past, the Aztecs preferred the Soconusco cocoa because it was considered the most valuable of all Mexico. For this reason, we have pursued it for many years and we finally have been able to source its seeds and make this chocolate bar, rich with intense aromas of exotic fruits and nuts.
